Bróna introduces her first book A Way with the Fairies: a folklore anthology featuring fables, folk songs and fairy tales from Ireland and other European countries. The event will feature Lithuanian singer and musician, who will share a traditional folk tale from her country and introduce the national Lithuanian instrument – the kankles.
Bróna is delighted to be hosted by Armagh library for this special event, which is free of charge and will begin at 6.30pm. Everyone is welcome and participation will be encouraged.
Limited-edition hardback copies of the book will be available to purchase.
The project is supported by the National Lottery and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Newry Mourne and Down District Council.
