Since the pandemic has put paid to live touring for the time being, Bróna has decided to take you on tour with her at home, visiting the places that have inspired her work.
The Mourne Mystery Tour is a digital performance series showcasing stories and songs from Bróna’s second album, The Man in the Mountain. Performances are recorded live outdoors in County Down.
Episode 2 tells the story of battling giants, which inspired Bróna’s song: The Man in the Mountain, contrasting the richly orchestrated album version with her stripped back live rendition performed on Killowen beach.
The 2nd episode showcases Rostrevor Shore, Carlingford Lough, Slieve Foy in the Cooley Hills, the Cloughmore Stone and Killowen.
