As the Crow Flies was recorded with Brona’s band Forestbrook who were active in London from 2004 to 2008. The album features Hutch Demouilpied (trumpet), Jo Quail (cello), Marius Rodruigues (drums), Jim Richards (bodhrán), Michael Dunnigan (slide guitar) and Alastair Dant (beats, engineering, production). All other instruments and vocals were by Brona. The songs were recorded at various locations including London, Cambridge, Wales, Somerset and France. The band launched As the Crow Flies at the Union Chapel, London in 2008.
